  • 34 percent counted a solo trip among “the top five trips taken…and would like to do again.”
  • Over 40 percent of baby boomers took a solo trip in the past year, with an additional 21 percent planning to take one in the future.
  • 72 percent of American women take solo trips.
  • Of the global survey respondents, American women ranked #1 for solo travel and most likely to take three or more trips a year.
  • Australia is the most popular international destination for solo travelers. G’day, Mate!
